History

In 1994 Sam Apostle and I formed Apostle Fitzgerald & Company, a lodging real estate brokerage company. Sam, as former President of Ramada Inns franchiser division, and I, as former Chief Operating Officer of Best Western International, had built many industry relationships throughout the country and these contributed to a good start-up for our company and its success over the years. Sam has now passed on but his client-first attitude lives on and we continue to honor him in the company name.

Anne Young joined us in 1995. In 2006 I asked Dave Turner, a former corporate colleague of Sam and mine at Ramada, to work together with me as an associate broker. Dave brings known integrity and a wealth of lodging industry and real estate experience, as you may note in his bio brief. Tom Bogart joined our firm in 2010 to enhance the firm’s commitment in the southwestern market. Tom has a solid background in hotel consulting, marketing and sales, as well as hotel operational experience. In 2011 we added my son Sean Fitzgerald, a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, to our staff.
